Sergey Krivokrasov, native of Angarsk, Russia, was drafted in 1992 by 12th overall by Chicago Blackhawks and he went on to play 450 games (10 years) in the NHL with Chicago, Nashville, Calgary, Anaheim, and Minnesota. He also played for the famous Russian Coach Tikhonov at 16 & 17 years old for the Central Red Army team as well as 10 seasons in the KHL after his super NHL career.  “Krivo” won a gold medal with Team Russia in the World Junior Championships in 1992. He won a silver medal in the 1998 Olympics with Russia and in 1999, was named to the NHL All Star game. 

After finishing his playing career, Sergey became a Professional coach for the KHL farm team, Angarsk Emak.  Sergey has been coaching AAA hockey for the past 6 years with the Rocky Mountain Roughriders taking their U16 AAA team to the League finals two years in a row.  He holds a USA Hockey Level 4 Certification and a Professional Coaching Degree.

At SFHA, Sergei will be the Head coach for our full season 2005 “AAA” team during the 2017-2018 season! He will also be in a big role at SFHA camps and clinics and focus on individual player skill development with us.
