Ed Jovanovski was the first overall pick in the NHL in 1994. With almost 1200 games in the NHL, he is one the top d-men that played the game.

During his career, Jovo has played for the Florida Panthers, Vancouver Canucks and the Phoenix Coyotes. On top of that, he has represented Team Canada in the Olympic Games, World Cup and World Championships. Jovo is a World Junior Champ and and Olympic gold metalist.

With the South Florida Academy, Jovo is responsible to be the Head of defensive coaching. With his experience, the defensive players in the Academy will get to know the ins and outs about how to become the best you can be.
